KK Digital Media is a web-based digital signage and fleet advertising management system that connects administrators, fleet partners, and customers on a single platform, digitizing core operations, screen monitoring, impression tracking, ad campaign management, ride/vehicle logging, packages, subscriptions, billing, and reporting.
Admins can manage users and groups with granular role-based permissions, track live impressions across screens on a geographic heatmap, upload and schedule ad creatives, configure packages and currencies, monitor vehicle rides, and review a full activity log of every system action, all from a centralized, dark-themed dashboard built around a secure server with role-based access and APIs.
The Issue At Hand
Before this portal, monitoring screens, impressions, ad campaigns, fleet rides, and billing relied on disconnected spreadsheets and manual reconciliation, with no centralized place to manage users, permissions, or content across a growing partner and customer base.
The platform needed granular role-based access, distinguishing internal admins, fleet partners, and customers, along with reliable handling of bulk data imports (Excel-based impression and ride files) without breaking under load.

While analyzing the requirements, the core challenge identified was handling large media and Excel-based data imports efficiently while keeping the portal responsive. Research showed we needed a clear separation between media storage and the application database, with the database holding only metadata, and an extensible role-based permissions model.

Upload, edit, download, and organize ad creatives by label, file type, size, and subscription with full version control.
Packages, Subscriptions & Currencies
Configure packages by duration, plays/hour, reach, and price, manage regional subscriptions, and support multiple currencies for global billing.
Documents & Activity Log
Centralized document storage tied to subscriptions, alongside a full activity log auditing every region, currency, and subscription change with timestamps.
Screens & Geographic Mapping
Screen-level monitoring with locality, region, country, status, and speed, visualized on an interactive map with bulk event-trigger and data tools.
