TIQS ME

TIQS ME is a comprehensive event management platform developed to digitize and streamline the complete event lifecycle for organizers, vendors, suppliers, artists, security teams, and visitors. The platform provides an all-in-one solution for entrance management, accreditation, area access control, cashless payments, vendor management, and real-time event monitoring, replacing what had previously been a fragmented collection of disconnected ticketing, access, and payment systems with a single centralized command center for large-scale public events.

Organizers can pre-register staff, vendors, suppliers, partners, artists, and crew members before the event, with access permissions configured by date, time slot, user role, and restricted area, while security personnel verify credentials in real time using mobile scanning devices or automated kiosks. A fully integrated cashless payment layer supports self-ordering kiosks, mobile POS devices, physical POS terminals, payment cards, digital wallets, and wristband-based payments, all feeding into live reporting dashboards that give organizers immediate visibility into attendance, vendor performance, stock levels, revenue, and access logs throughout the event.

The Issue At Hand

Fragmented Systems Behind Large-Scale Events

During the requirement analysis phase, it was identified that many large-scale events relied on multiple disconnected systems for ticket validation, accreditation, access control, payments, and reporting. This fragmented approach increased operational complexity, caused long visitor queues, and made it difficult for organizers to monitor event activities in real time.

Research showed that organizers required a single integrated platform capable of managing the complete event lifecycle from visitor entry to vendor operations. It was also discovered that manual accreditation and paper-based access control created security risks and increased staffing requirements.

Further analysis revealed the growing demand for cashless events, where visitors could make purchases using digital wallets, payment cards, or RFID wristbands instead of cash, alongside a need for real-time dashboards so organizers could monitor attendance, vendor sales, inventory levels, and operational performance while the event was in progress.

01

Event operations relied on multiple disconnected systems for ticket validation, accreditation, access control, payments, and reporting, increasing operational complexity and causing long visitor queues

02

Manual, paper-based accreditation and access control processes created security risks and required significantly more on-site staffing than a digital system would

03

There was no single platform capable of managing the full event lifecycle, from visitor entry through vendor operations, forcing organizers to reconcile data across separate tools

04

Organizers lacked real-time visibility into attendance, vendor sales, inventory levels, and access logs while an event was actually in progress

05

Growing demand for cashless events had no unified answer, with visitors needing to pay via digital wallets, payment cards, or RFID wristbands rather than cash

06

Vendors had no centralized way to track sales, inventory, and transaction history, leaving stock and revenue visibility fragmented across booths

07

Security teams needed a way to verify staff, vendor, artist, and crew credentials in real time against approved dates, time slots, and restricted zones

Requirement Gathering & Operational Analysis

The project began with requirement gathering sessions involving event organizers, operations teams, security personnel, and vendors to understand their day-to-day workflows and operational challenges, before any system architecture or interface work began.

Key Activities

Fragmented System Audit

Mapped how organizers were relying on multiple disconnected systems for ticket validation, accreditation, access control, payments, and reporting, identifying exactly where this fragmentation was causing long queues and operational blind spots.

Security & Accreditation Risk Review

Identified that manual accreditation and paper-based access control created security risks and increased staffing requirements, shaping the case for a digital, role-based accreditation system from the outset.

Cashless Demand Analysis

Confirmed a growing demand for cashless events, where visitors could pay using digital wallets, payment cards, or RFID wristbands instead of cash, which directly shaped the scope of the payment module.

Real-Time Reporting Requirements

Established that organizers needed real-time dashboards to monitor attendance, vendor sales, inventory levels, and operational performance while an event was actively running, not just after it ended.
