ADFW is the official mobile companion app and event website for Abu Dhabi Finance Week, engineered to elevate the attendee experience with real-time speaker scheduling, interactive venue mapping, and full event management across a massive-scale financial conference.
Powered by React Native on mobile and React on the web, the platform features a live sync layer for instant schedule updates, vectorized venue maps, a searchable speaker directory, and a centralized admin panel, giving organizers a reliable, single system to manage registration, agenda, sponsors, and media at scale.
The Issue At Hand
Attendees at a massive-scale financial conference faced frequent layout updates, session time changes, and multi-track venue routing without immediate alerts. Existing tools fractured the physical event experience and left users disoriented across large convention floors.
Organizers, meanwhile, needed a single web platform to manage registration, agenda, sponsors, and media at scale, without the fragmented spreadsheets and static documents that had governed previous event cycles.
No real-time push alerts for speaker schedule changes, leaving attendees unaware of last-minute updates.
Static PDFs replaced dynamic venue routing for thousands of attendees navigating a sprawling convention floor.
Session bookmarking was unavailable, causing attendees to miss priority talks across overlapping tracks.
No centralized web platform for registration, agenda, and sponsor management, forcing manual coordination.
No searchable speaker directory, making it hard for attendees and media to find specific profiles quickly.
