Liefermars is a Germany-based online food ordering and delivery platform connecting customers with multiple local restaurants through a single marketplace, similar to Foodpanda or Lieferando. Since the platform was already live and serving real customers, our work focused on stabilizing and enhancing an existing production system rather than building from scratch.
We resolved critical calculation errors in admin reporting and restaurant invoicing, fixed restaurant opening/closing hour logic, corrected order-time estimation, and shipped an automated invoice scheduling system — all deployed incrementally to production with zero disruption to live orders.

The Issue At Hand
Liefermars was already live and processing real orders when we joined, so every fix had to be surgical — reproducing bugs in a matched local environment, tracing root causes through a legacy PHP codebase, and validating fixes without risking downtime for active customers and restaurant partners.
The most business-critical issues centered on money: incorrect admin revenue and commission reports, broken restaurant invoice calculations, and no automated invoice scheduling — all fixed and hardened with regression testing before going live.
Corrected calculation errors in Admin Panel sales, revenue, and commission reporting.
Fixed broken restaurant invoice generation and added automated invoice scheduling.
Repaired restaurant opening/closing hour logic so orders were only accepted when a restaurant was actually open.
Rebuilt order-time estimation (ASAP, 30/45/50 min) to reflect real restaurant workload.
