The PliusTV project was a high-fidelity initiative to build a 20-to-25-page IPTV platform entirely from scratch using vanilla HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, strictly omitting all external libraries or frameworks such as Bootstrap, Tailwind, jQuery, or React. Every layout, interaction, and animation had to be hand-coded to hit pixel-perfect fidelity against the client's flat design mockups.
Working directly from those flat designs, a pixel-perfect, fully responsive site was engineered featuring a custom JSON-based localization architecture that decoupled all copy from the structural markup, enabling clean content swapping across English, Lithuanian, and Russian without any server-side rendering.

The Issue At Hand
The client needed a 20-to-25-page IPTV platform built strictly without any CSS or JavaScript frameworks, translated pixel-perfectly from flat image mockups, and localized across English, Lithuanian, and Russian without any backend or server-side rendering involved.
This meant every layout, slider, modal, and form had to be engineered natively from raw HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with no shortcuts through pre-built UI libraries anywhere in the build.
No Bootstrap, Tailwind, jQuery, or React was allowed for any part of the build, ruling out the shortcuts a typical modern site would rely on
Flat image mockups needed pixel-perfect translation into a responsive, fluid grid across 20-25 pages without losing any of the original design detail
Multilingual support for English, Lithuanian, and Russian had to work entirely without a server-side framework or backend rendering
Interactive components like sliders, modals, and accordions needed native JavaScript engineering from the ground up, with no plugin library to fall back on
Contact form validation had to be handled entirely client-side, with real-time error states and email syntax checks as the user types
Managing CSS consistently across 25 pages without a preprocessor risked unmaintainable stylesheet bloat if not planned carefully from the start

Operating without frameworks required careful architectural planning before any code was written, especially around localization, sliders, and CSS scalability.
Key Activities
Vanilla Localization Architecture
Researched how to handle client-side localization efficiently without server-side rendering, discovering that structured JSON language objects paired with data-i18n HTML attributes was the most performant, maintainable approach. This approach let every page swap languages instantly without a single line of backend code.
Native Slider Math & Logic
Analyzed screen-width calculations, touch-swipe events, and CSS transform: translateX() offsets to ensure a native JavaScript slider performed fluidly with hardware acceleration on mobile. Getting this math right upfront meant the slider felt as smooth as a plugin-based one without adding any external dependency.
CSS Bloat Prevention Strategy
Mapped out a global CSS layout system using native CSS Custom Properties for colors, typography, and spacing, so changing a single variable would instantly update the theme sitewide. This kept the stylesheet manageable across all 20-25 pages without ever needing a Sass or Less preprocessor.
Image Mockup Structural Mapping
Analyzed the client's flat image mockups page by page to plan semantic HTML structure ahead of the pixel-perfect build. This planning pass caught structural inconsistencies in the designs before they could turn into rework during development.

Great developer, finished the project within the time period and budget even when the project had significantly increased in scope after the initial estimate. Highly recommend and will be hiring again soon.
