Train Agents is a premier online real estate school platform redesigned to help agents get licensed and maintain CE requirements. Built for multi-state operations, this white-label system replaces fragmented legacy tools with a modern architecture managing the full student lifecycle.
Powered by Nuxt.js and a Laravel backend, the platform features branded interfaces, state-specific course packages, progress tracking, and integrated Stripe payments, giving schools an automated, SEO-optimized, scalable solution from enrollment to certification.

The Issue At Hand
Aspiring real estate agents were struggling with a legacy LMS that hadn't kept pace with modern expectations, a single centralized theme, no real-time progress tracking, no direct student-instructor communication, and a fragmented public experience with no dedicated state, school, or course listing pages.
Years of incremental patches had left the codebase brittle and difficult to extend. The client needed a full modernization, state-compliant, multi-school capable, and SEO-optimized, without disrupting the modules still in production or the active student base.
Legacy stack with a single centralized theme, causing poor performance and no school-specific branding.
No direct communication channel between students and instructors, driving up support tickets.
No dedicated listings for states, schools, courses, or packages, and no cart, discount, or Stripe support.
No real-time progress tracking or certificate management, compounded by a partial migration requirement.

Launch

Before writing a single line of code, we analyzed the existing platform, business requirements, and scalability needs, shaping every major technical decision that followed.
Key Activities
Existing Platform Audit
Reviewed the legacy LMS module by module to understand what could be preserved and what needed to be rebuilt.
White-Label Architecture Decision
Adopted a frontend-driven theming approach over a full template engine, since the platform serves roughly five active schools with similar structures.
Database Compatibility Strategy
Retained the existing database schema to maintain compatibility with live LMS modules and reduce migration risk.
Partial Migration Planning
Confirmed several legacy modules would stay live during rollout, requiring controlled redirection without breaking active sessions.
SEO & Rendering Strategy
Meaningful SEO requirements on public pages drove the choice of Server-Side Rendering and Nuxt.js as the frontend framework.
Technology Stack Selection
Confirmed Laravel for the backend, Nuxt.js with SSR for the frontend, and the existing database for full LMS compatibility.
Design & Prototypes
Explore the complete Train Agents Figma design system, covering the component library, theming tokens, and end-to-end screen flows for every role, built for direct developer handoff.
